Vivien had her annual cardiology check-up today. She doesn't remember what happens at the visits since we haven't been since last year. She remembers going for my fetal echo when I was 22 weeks pregnant with Silas.
She was particularly ornery with the nurse. She didn't want to take off her coat and boots to get her weight and height. Then she didn't want to take her shirt off. Then she didn't want to get on the exam table for the EKG. She was being particularly difficult, which is understandable since she was scared. But she was coming across as a handful (which is not far from the truth).
A little trickery from Mom and she was cooperating. She did great with Dr. Laird. Followed all of her instructions and chatted with her quite a bit.
Everything looks great! We don't have to go back for another year!!! Dr. Laird remains very optimistic that Vivien will not need further intervention, but will continue to monitor her closely.

That's wonderful news!
I am so happy for Vivien and your family. To know that your baby is healthy and a normal little girl. The first pic of her swing is precious.
Such wonderful news!!
